LEGO BANANA GUY
Team: The guys who went BANANAS!
About Our Scarecrow: Well, we started with the traditional scarecrow design with sacking head filled with straw, but when we discussed what character we wanted to do, George said “hey, let’s do the banana guy”, so we researched the Lego Banana Guy (or is it the Lego Banana Man?), and came up with a design. The next step was to send dad out to the local business recycling bins, and he came back with some large plastic sheets. These made the banana guy’s body and arms, and his hands are made out of the inside part of a roll of tape cut in half. We then found an old pair of Jack’s tracksuit pants and filled them with plastic bags from the recycling bin, and now he had some legs. He then got a fresh coat of spray paint, and lego banana guy was re-born. Traditional inside, with a flash new exterior. Lots of fun had by all. Lego Banana Guy can be found on Grotto St, Onehunga
