What is the Scarecrow Festival?
Our students are getting their creative juices flowing because the Scarecrow Competition starts in Term 3, 2014. Our Scarecrow Festival is a fantastic community event, and also an opportunity for our school to raise funds towards the improvement of our play areas. We hope you'll get out and about to see our scarecrows, and be a part of our Festival Day on Saturday 8th November, 2014.
Our children will be dreaming up some amazing scarecrow creations, and from Saturday 18th October you'll be able to take a stroll around our school neighbourhood and see what they have built.
This year we hope to have a mobile application available to make it easier to find the scarecrows and find out more about our Festival Day.
On Saturday 8th November, we'll be holding a Festival Day at Three Kings School between 11am and 3pm. There'll be plenty of fun activities, quality stalls: preserves, old fashioned sweets, cakes, crafts and 2nd hand goods.
There'll be lots happening on the main stage, including a live auction and announcement of the category winners for the Scarecrow Competition at midday.
We have some fantastic food stalls, both savoury and sweet. We'll keep you entertained throughout the day, as well as holding raffles from the main stage and keeping you updated on our Silent Auction items.
