Rubbish Bag Road Warrior, by Big King Rurus (Churches Ave)

The Rubbish Bag Road Warrior flies over the Big King (Te Tātua-a-Riukiuta) to keep an eye on all the other Road Warriors, especially the pushed and pedalled kind. When you are out there, look up, he might just be there with you on your journey. And to you, the four wheeled motored kind, he is there with a friendly reminder to slow down, be kind and give a 'big ups' to all those kids on their bikes!! Ka Rawe Kids!

Geoff the Space Monkey, by the Extraterrestrials (St Andrews Rd)

Geoff was on a mission exploring the solar system for signs of life on other planets when he ran into trouble hitting debris in our atmosphere and had to abandon his space shuttle. He parachuted from his escape pod and landed in St Andrews Rd. He prefers to use diplomacy however he is prepared to defend himself if threatened... Geoff is constructed from an old children's car seat, a bamboo garden stake, tin cans, a plastic bowl, tin foil, old clothing/fabric, wigs, a beach ball and a monkey mask. Our favourite tool is the hot glue gun.

Bad Brains, by The Gruesome Twosome (Connolly Ave)

The Gruesome Twosome wanted to make a zombie jack-o'-lantern, preferably eating brains, holding brains, or perhaps just oozing brains. This is their effort, made with a bit of paper mâche and some tree trimmings...and a blood-smeared hatchet.

Mumble, by The Strong Men (Rowan Rd)

The boys decided they want to do a baby penguin "on a car". They stuffed an old beanbag full of lots of plastic bags to make his body and painted his car RED to symbolise their school: Three Kings School!

Popcorn Party, by Awesome Threesome (Landscape Rd)

We made our scarecrow out of any old bits and pieces that we could get our hands on. This included wood from Aria's old house, paint from Lola's garage and Rose's Dad, and cotton wool that was left over from another project. We love that our scarecrow is eco-friendly because we have "re-used" everything in it, even the bow. We wanted her to have a personality so we painted a face and brought her to life!

Stickman, by TeeJay (Connolly Ave)

Stickman often gets himself into sticky situations. He gets strung along by Tee and Jay. They stick together when the going get tough. Stickman doesn't need much. He likes sticks. Not stones though. Stickman makes random appearances - he likes hiding in trees. *No trees were harmed in the making of Stickman*
